A Are Pets Allowed?

We apologize, but pets are not allowed at our accommodations. This policy is in place for the comfort and safety of all our guests. We hope you understand and please let us know if you have any other questions!

A Can an extra bed fit in the studios?

Please note that two out of the three studios can accommodate an extra single bed (rollaway bed) upon request. However, kindly be advised that the studios are designed for two guests, and adding an extra bed may make the space feel less comfortable.

A Can I use the BBQ?

Yes, you are welcome to use the BBQ and all the facilities in the backyard. We kindly request that you inform us in advance so that we can ensure everything is prepared for your enjoyment.

A Do you provide cleaning services during my stay?

We follow Airbnb’s policy and we do not provide daily cleaning services. However, for longer stays, we will provide you with fresh linens and towels every 4 days to ensure your comfort and hygiene.

Yes, the accommodation has private parking within the courtyard.

A What is included in the room?

The house is equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
It provides shampoo, hot water, shower gel, toiletries, towels, bed sheets, soap, toilet paper, hangers, extra pillows and blankets, blackout curtains, and a drying rack.
Guests can enjoy entertainment with the television.
Cooling is available through air conditioning.
For safety, a fire extinguisher and first-aid kit are provided. Wi-Fi access is available for internet connectivity.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a cooking burner, cooking utensils, pots and pans, oil, salt, and pepper, dishes and cutlery, bowls, plates, cups, etc.

The minimum stay requirement is 3 nights for the studios and 4 nights for the apartment.

A How do I get to the house of Alkyon from the airport by bus?

Direct buses from Macedonia Airport to Chalkidiki are not available. You have two options:

1. Taxi to KTEL Chalkidikis bus station:
From the bus station, you can take a bus to your final destination, Toroni, in Chalkidiki.

2. City bus to KTEL Chalkidikis bus station:
Take city bus line 79A or 79B from the airport bus stop to the KTEL Chalkidiki bus station.
Cost: €0.90
Travel time: about 14 minutes

Note: Once you reach the KTEL Chalkidiki bus station, you can find buses to various destinations within Chalkidiki. Ticket prices and travel times vary depending on the final destination.

Tips:
Book your KTEL ticket online in advance, especially during peak season, as buses tend to fill up quickly.
Avoid purchasing tickets at the KTEL station due to potential long queues.

From KTEL Chalkidiki to Toroni
Arrival Instructions:
Please inform the driver that you would like to descend at the second bus stop in Toroni, named “Afroditi”.

Luggage assistance: If you have a lot of luggage, please let us know in advance so we can arrange a pick-up to assist you.

Walking distance: The house is approximately a 13-minute walk from the “Afroditi” bus stop.

A Is Toroni Beach Suitable for Families?

Yes, the Toroni beach is an excellent choice for families. The beach has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag certification, indicating it meets high standards for cleanliness, safety, and family-friendly amenities.

Toroni beach offers both organized beach bars with umbrellas and sun loungers, as well as ample open space for families to spread out and enjoy their own activities. While the waters are not extremely shallow, they are calm, which makes it a safe environment for children to swim and play.

A Can I use vouchers, or coupons from social tourism etc.?

No, unfortunately, we are not currently able to accommodate requests related to social tourism, vouchers, or other similar programs. As a small family business, we are not yet equipped to handle these types of arrangements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

A How can I pay for my stay?

You have two payment options:

Pay through Airbnb: This is the most convenient and secure option for all of us. You can pay directly through the Airbnb platform using your preferred payment method.

Pay in cash at the property: If you prefer to pay in cash, you can do so upon your arrival at the property. Please note that a non-refundable deposit may be required for this option.
Kindly note that the property does not have a credit card processing terminal (POS).
